Wrist pain is often caused by sprains or fractures from sudden injuries, but can also result from long-term problems, such as repetitive stress, wrist tendonitis, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome & neuropathy.

Some of the signs and symptoms associated with wrist pain are:

  • Inability to carry objects or use the arm
  • Wrist pain that occurs at night or while resting
  • Wrist pain that persists beyond a few days
  • Poor ROM in the wrist, wrist flexion / extension / medial or lateral deviation
  • Swelling or significant bruising around the joint or forearm
  • Numbness and tingling of the hands and/or wrists
